"Jules" White Nanking Cherry

An uncommon white-fruited form of Nanking cherry with the same beautiful cherry blossoms and adaptability as its red cousins. Jules produces clusters of translucent, white/pale golden cherries with a mild, sweet flavor and low acidity. Delicious eaten fresh or used in unique white preserves and syrups. The candelabra branching nature and intermediate height of nanking cherries make them excellent trained as either a bush or a tree. They make a beautiful ornamental when covered in soft white blooms each spring- the most popular choice of all of our plants for hedge rows. The leaves are among the prettiest in our nursery too. Hardy, drought-tolerant, and resistant to pests.
