Bred specifically for high yields by New York state's Geneva Research Station. Early-ripening, fruits are large for a hardy kiwi and ripen reliably even in cooler northern climates. Sweet, low-acid flavor with excellent eating quality right off the vine. Contains high levels of vitamin C and bioflavonoids that support collagen synthesis and immune function, as well as the serotonin precursors that make kiwi famous. Requires a male pollinator. Vigorous vine best supported with something strong like a T-bar, arbor system, or gondola. Ripens August-September.
