"Gabe" White Bush Cherry (Nanking)

"Gabe" is a unique white-fruited Nanking cherry with clear, translucent skin and the sweetest fruit of any variety. Similar in growth habit and reliability to red-fruited types but with softer, lower-acid fruit perfect for fresh eating or preserves. Can be trained to a bush or a tree. Makes for an excellent hedge row. Fruit hangs in long clusters along the stems in early summer, and plants bloom profusely in early spring with white or pale pink flowers. High in antioxidants, potassium, and vitamin C, while being one of the easiest cherries to grow due to its accepting of heavier soils. Something that normal cherries do not handle all too well.
