Essential for pollinating female hardy kiwi vines such as Geneva, Hardy Red, Issai, and Changbai. While it doesn't bear fruit, 'Clark' produces abundant, fragrant white flowers which open in sync with most female varieties that bloom in the May/July range. Male vines can pollinate up to 6–8 female plants. Grows vigorously and requires trellising. Cold-hardy and reliable, tolerant of a wide range of soils but prefers well-drained, slightly acidic conditions.
