Chang Bai Hardy Kiwi (Female)
A productive, cute, and cold-hardy female variety from China's Changbai Mountains. Produces loads of small, smooth-skinned, heart-shaped kiwis with bright green flesh and high sugar content. Excellent flavor, somewhat less tart than Issai, with a subtle citrus finish. The largest of the kiwiberries. Great for fresh eating and very high in vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. Vines are vigorous and highly ornamental, with glossy all-green foliage and fragrant white flowers in late spring. Provide full sun, well draining soil, and something to climb. Needs a male. pollinator to fruit, our 'Clark' is an excellent option timing wise, both flower in May/June.
