Cee’s Red Fig

Cee’s Red is a standout hardy fig selection prized for its  strawberry or raspberry jam flavor and deep red interior. The fruits are medium sized, pear-shaped, and ripen reliably even in shorter, wetter, or more humid seasons due to their crack resistant skin. They’re delicious fresh, dried, baked into things or roasted with a drizzle of honey. This variety grows as a compact bush or small tree, and can be kept container-sized with pruning. Naturally resistant to most pests and drought once established. In places with cold winters, expect upper growth to die back in winter, coming back with more branches and more figs every season. No pollination requirement, fig fruits are actually an inverted flower.
